Hiba Brunet

Bachelor's student in psychoeducation

Curious by nature, Hiba has always enjoyed immersing herself in projects that put human beings and their well-being first. Throughout her years of practical experience in intervention, Hiba has been working with young people with various adaptation and developmental disorders, as well as physical and intellectual disabilities. She has always enjoyed working with vulnerable clienteles. This is what led her to take the Honor's path to a bachelor's degree in psychoeducation at the University of Montreal, in order to combine this scientific curiosity with the counselling role. Hiba is currently studying indicators of psychological distress among different job categories of healthcare workers during the first two waves of the COVID-19 pandemic. She will continue her work with the laboratory this summer on a project on psychoeducational practice, and will start her master's degree in psychoeducation in the fall, again in partnership with the laboratory.
